Facetune Treatment
We recently welcomed Lynne Hyland into PHI for what she refers to as a ‘Facetune treatment’, or full face dermal fillers.It’s always a pleasure to welcome journalists into the clinic, in order to be able to spread a little more education around cosmetic treatments to the public.

“These women all show how attractive a strong jawline can look in a female face,” explains Tapan, founder of The PHI Clinic in London. “In the past cosmetic doctors have done a disservice to women with a strong, wide jawline, thinking we should try to slim it down to balance out the face. However we have actually realised that it’s good to have a strong jawline, as long as it’s balanced by defined cheekbones. The new aesthetic ideal is to have a firm, strong jawline and high cheekbones, with a gentle contour between the two.”
"Contours That Defy Age"
“As well as being attractive to look at, this sort of face shape is naturally inclined to age remarkably well,” explains Tapan. “Those contours act as a ‘coat hanger’ for the facial structure, which helps slow the sagging and drooping that comes with age. We are now using a 360-degree beautifying approach, where we look at the face as a whole and inject small amounts in different areas,” explains Tapan.
“Individually, these are very small, subtle tweaks but when spread out over the whole face they add up to a very nice, natural enhancement of what you have already. It’s like the sort of things people do to their photos with Facetune, except it’s very subtle. You shouldn’t look like you’ve anything “done” unless you put your before and after images side by side.”
