The Best Time To Use Laser Based Treatments

Laser Based Treatments 1920x1280

We house the largest range of devices in the UK, including laser based devices used to address various indications. The best time to start laser based treatments is autumn and winter, as most will advise avoiding UV exposure following procedures, making the darker months preferable to many. As well as this, sunburnt and tanned skin is more resistant to treatment, so as these fade it becomes easier to treat indications with laser based devices.

Laser Based Treatments : Excel V, V Beam, M22 - Laser Based Treatments London 690x960

Laser Based Treatments : Excel V, V Beam, M22

Excel v
The Excel V uses green light technology to target abnormal pigment and blood vessels in the skin, addressing concerns like pigmentation, rosacea, and redness for a reduction in the appearance of these indications. The device is suitable for all skin types, requires no anaesthesia, and can be tailored to suit individuals for bespoke treatments.

V Beam
Perfect for targeting redness, the V Beam uses controlled pulses of light to eliminate diseased and damaged cells for a reduction in vascular indications like spider veins and rosacea. The V Beam is safe for all skin types and does not typically require anaesthesia.

M22
The M22 uses a combination of the laser based devices IPL (intense pulsed light), fractional resurfacing, and Nd:YAG technology to improve skin for a healthier, radiant appearance. The combination allows for treatments to be tailored to individual needs to address indications like acne, rosacea, and thread veins in one session.

Laser Based Treatments : Erbium YAG, Lase MD, Palomar Icon - Laser Based Treatments London harley street 690x960

Laser Based Treatments : Erbium YAG, Lase MD, Palomar Icon

Erbium YAG
Using energy in the mid infrared invisible light spectrum, the laser creates a controlled wound in the skin that encourages collagen remodelling for a reduction of wrinkles on the forehead, lips, and cheeks, as well as skin around the eyes. As well as these, the Erbium YAG is cleared for use on age spots, freckles, and other discolourations of the skin.

Lase MD
Lase MD uses skin resurfacing technology combined with a cosmeceutical delivery system that leaves skin fresh and glowing. The device creates micro channels in the skin, through which topical serums can be absorbed into skin, including Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Resveratrol and Tranexamic Acid for a rejuvenating effect.

Palomar icon
The Palomar Icon was designed to treat scarring, stretch marks, and vascular issues like rosacea and spider veins. It uses ablative and non-ablative techniques to tackle a range of issues, allowing for tailored treatments that can treat multiple concerns in one sitting. It has a melanin reader built in to ensure treatment can effectively treat patients’ skin tone.

Laser Based Treatments : DEEP FX and TOTAL FX

DEEP FX
This device uses fractional resurfacing to improve the texture and tone of skin, as well as help create movement in scar tissue for burn and acid victims. DEEP FX encourages collagen production to rejuvenate skin, without harming tissue around the treated area.

TOTAL FX
TOTAL FX combines two FX treatments for a more intense treatment to tackle deep scarring and very damaged skin. This treatment usually requires just one session, though this may vary from person to person. TOTAL FX is suitable for all skin tones.
