What is Ultraformer?
Ultraformer is an innovative neck & face lifting device that uses ultrasound technology to lift and tighten the skin on the face and neck area. Referred to as the ‘non-surgical facelift’, Ultraformer is great for those who are wanting great results, without resorting to surgery. Unlike traditional methods of lifting the face, Ultraformer does not require lengthy downtime and has minimal risk of scarring associated with it.
Ultraformer is also fantastic for those who have already undergone surgery, as it can improve and maintain the results achieved.
Neck & Face Lifting
Using a hand-held device, one of our skilled practitioners will deliver controlled pulses of ultrasound over the treated area, penetrating deep into the lower part of the skin. The heat energy produced helps to stimulate collagen production in the dermis, and treatment can continue to have an effect months after the initial session, as the process is ongoing. Without affecting the surface of the skin, Ultraformer is capable of producing varying intensities of energy and can be aimed at different depths, making it easy to tailor to individual indications and different skin thicknesses.
The ideal candidate for neck and face lifting Ultraformer would be someone who has noticed some laxity to their skin, especially on the neck or under the chin. Fine lines and wrinkles on the chest can also be a sign of a suitable candidate for ultrasound treatment. Generally, these are patients over the age of 30 with some mild to moderate sagging or laxity. Ultraformer is appropriate for those seeking a non-surgical alternative to a facelift, or as a preventative measure to improve skin health.
One session is usually enough to see results, but some people do have supplementary sessions. You can discuss this with your assigned clinician in your thorough follow up consultations, which we require at 6 weeks and 3 months post-treatment.
