A wedding day is one of the most special days in anyone’s life, and the photos taken and memories made will last a lifetime. This is undoubtedly why so many brides are choosing to seek out non surgical treatments prior to their big day to address a range of concerns without the need for lengthy downtime associated with surgical procedures.
Brides' Magazine UK - Non Surgical Nose Job
More and more people are opting for non surgical treatments as alternatives to traditionally surgical procedures. This is especially true with non surgical nose augmentation, or the ‘no knife nose job’, which is popular among brides.
We welcomed Claudia Waterson from Brides’ Magazine UK into PHI Clinic to try the treatment in order to correct some asymmetry caused by an injury. You can find out more here. We use dermal fillers to perform this procedure, and by introducing volume into the bridge of her nose, our medical director, Dr Tapan Patel, was able to create a straighter look.
This can also be used to lift a drooping nose tip, decrease the apparent width of the nose, and balance the profile by reducing the appearance of a nose bump, or dorsal hump. We recommend having a non surgical nose job a minimum of 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding.
Beauti-PHI Peel and LaseMD Combination Facial
For fresh and glowing skin on your wedding day, we recommend the combination facial. Bringing together two skincare giants, this involves a Beauti-PHI Peel followed by a LaseMD treatment. This removes built up dirt and oil from pores using microdermabrasion, then infuses the face with topical serums to encourage healthy skin, with no downtime.
We recommend this approximately 48 hours before your wedding for optimal results.
Volite - The 6 Month Moisturiser
Volite is a thin dermal filler product from the Juvederm Vycross range that is used to improve skin hydration, suitable for use in not just the face but also the hands and decolletage. Nicknamed the 6 month moisturiser, Volite improves skin health for a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and an improvement in texture and tone.
We recommend having Volite two to three weeks before your wedding.
Many of the brides-to-be that we treat at PHI come to us seeking a lip augmentation. This is a popular procedure that we perform often, but every patient is different and we take this into account when treating, creating a bespoke plan to suit individual needs. We recommend having a lip augmentation treatment 3-4 weeks before your wedding.
Crow’s Feet Reduction
Also called smile lines, as these wrinkles by the eyes are most noticeable upon a wide smile, many women consider treatment to reduce crow’s feet. We use Botox injections to do this, relaxing the muscle beneath the lines in order to smooth them out, with results that last for 3-4 months. We recommend having Botox approximately 3-5 weeks before your wedding.
Non Surgical Treatments For The Mother Of The Groom
We also see many future mother-in-laws who seek out treatment prior to their son or daughter’s big day. Dr Tapan recently treated one woman prior to her son’s wedding with dermal filler in the lips, cheeks, chin, and around the eyes for a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
‘I’ve never done anything like this before and I was well aware that I needed a makeover. What better time could there be than my son’s wedding?’ – mother of the bride.
You can read her full transformation story in an article here.
