Tattoo removal in London

While many perceive tattoos to be beautiful expressions of personality and the hallmarks of one’s character, some of us who opt for ink end up regretting it. It could be that the script you have is misspelt, the design is wonky, you were dared or you have simply outgrown it.

PHI offers advanced tattoo removal in London, at its Harley Street practice, with three devices which are specifically-designed to target tattoo pigment. PHI Clinic has a comprehensive offering for patient wishing to banish their body art, for all skin types and various coloured ink.

Tattoo removal devices at PHI Clinic

The latest addition to our range of tattoo removal devices is the PicoWay laser from Syneron Candela. Working at a picosecond (a trillionth of a second), the PicoWay obliterates the pigment of the tattoo, and the body removes the ink itself through healing, over a period of sessions. It is extremely effective, powerful and quick, meaning that treatment time is significantly lowered.

We also have the Revlite and Spectra which are tried and tested for tattoo removal, suitable for all skin types.

In order to assess how many session are realistically needed to gain a result, and to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions to the machine, a consultation and patch test with one of our Aestheticians is essential. During the consultation, exact pricing will be determined, as it the cost of removal will depend on how many sessions needed and the size of the tattoo.

After 48 hours from the patch test, patients are able to proceed with treatment. Each session is spaced 6-8 weeks apart.

Besides some sensitivity in the area after treatment, some slight swelling and redness and forsting on the tattoo, there is no real downtime associated with tattoo removal. Patients are able to resume their day-to-day activities after treatment.

Your Aesthetician will inform you of the various aftercare steps to take to ensure the best result, and are to hand if ever you have any questions regarding your treatment.
