Introduction
AquaGold Fine TouchTM is a gold-plated micro-injection system that delivers custom solutions painlessly into the skin to affect the dermis. The applicator consists of microneedles that are smaller than hairs and a reservoir that can be filled with a tailored mixture of ingredients to suit individual needs.
These include vitamins, enzymes, plant extracts, and micro-quantities of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler that is applied gently to the skin at a depth of 600 microns in order to improve texture, tone, and even firmness.

Results are usually noticeable at two weeks following your treatment, and AquaGold treatments do not have any associated downtime. There are no significant side effects, though drinking coffee or taking aspirin or ibuprofen can increase your risk of bruising following treatment.
Outcomes from AquaGold treatments include smoother firmer skin, more even texture, tone, and colour of skin, and an improvement in the appearance of superficial acne scarring. The skin can also become plumper due to the increased thickness of the dermis due to the needle stimulation.

Technical Information
AquaGold microneedling treatments use micro-quantities hyaluronic acid (HA) gel to smooth out the texture and tone of skin, as well as improving superficial acne scarring by increasing skin hydration; HA is a naturally occurring sugar that can attract and retain up to 1000x its own weight in water for a moisturising and plumping effect.
Micro-quantities of botulinum toxin, or Botox, can shrink enlarged pores for a smoother appearance to skin. When combined with other treatments, AquaGold can enhance the results of laser-based therapies by infusing skin with serums that contain growth factors and vitamins for improved healing. The mixture of the serum used will vary from person to person according to individual needs.

The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient, but we usually recommend that a course of 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart, will be enough to see a result.
All of our members of clinical staff are trained in performing AquaGold treatments.
There is no significant downtime or side effects associated with this treatment, though we do recommend avoiding caffeine, aspirin, and paracetamol prior to your appointment in order to reduce the risk of bruising.
Results can be seen at approximately 2-3 weeks post treatment, but a course of treatments may be recommended for optimal outcomes.
