Enerjet uses hyalauronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring acid that holds moisture, to lift scars and ‘remodel’ areas of skin. The specially-designed Healing Compound is introduced to the dermis via needleless injection. Instead of using needles, the device uses a high powered jet which creates a “controlled wound” to encourage the body’s natural healing processes. In doing so, collagen production is accelerated and the scar tissue is broken down.Book consultation
Factors to consider
After an injury, the body can sometimes produce a mark or a scar. Once the wound has been made, the body produces collagen to reform the skin, and this can sometimes come back uneven, raised or discoloured.
The majority of scars fall into the following categories:
Flat, lighter scars
Hypertrophic scars (raised and red in colour)
Keloid scars (excess tissue in the affected area)
Pitted/atrophic/“ice pick” scars (indented)
Contracture scars (skin has shrunk and tightened, perhaps restricting movement)
Stretch marks can be found in a variety of patient types, but the hormonal changes and extra weight carried during pregnancy increases the chances of them occurring. According to the NHS, around 80% of pregnant women incur stretch marks.

Most women who develop these marks will be advised to try out over-the-counter creams and oils that claim to reduce their appearance. Whilst many find these products to be helpful, it is important to note that there are alternative treatments that could reduce them more dramatically and for a longer period of time.
