Ultherapy treatment is a now available at PHI Clinic, the Ultherapy device uses ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen production, creating a lifting effect. This treatment can be used on its own, or as a supplementary procedure to maintain results from a surgical facelift. Many people prefer to try Ultherapy prior to going under the knife, as a non-surgical alternative to the traditional procedure, which often involves a degree of scarring, as well as lengthy post op recovery time.
What does Ultheraphy treatment entail?
Firstly, a skilled Aesthetic practitioner will mark out the facial map using a template. This enables them to delineate important facial anatomy, including bones and nerves, and to deliver pulses accurately and effectively.
The machine’s software is specially designed to deliver safe, quality treatment, whilst maximising the patient’s comfort and results. Treatments are easily tailored to the needs of the individual, as the machine is capable of reaching varying depths with a range of intensities, to ensure the energy can be delivered to precisely the area that requires it.
What results can I expect?
Patients will notice a volume increase within the first few months post-treatment. The skin’s quality, laxity and health will also continue to improve over time as collagen production is continuous after the initial session.
How many Ultheraphy sessions will i need?
As results are continuous, most patients are pleased with the effects after just one treatment. Subsequent treatments are available after a year for those who wish to have it. We always offer follow up with a review at PHI, and for Ultherapy these will usually be at 6 weeks and 3 months post treatment.
