As well as bringing gorgeous frosty vistas, stunning winter fashion, and cosy nights in, the end of the year means cold and wet weather that can not only dampen our mood, but affect our skin. As the seasons change, so do our beauty concerns, and therefore the treatments that we seek out.
Our winter skin treatments tend to revolve around addressing dry or dull skin, as the season takes its toll on our health. Here, our clinicians have come together to recommend the best way to address some of the most common seasonal concerns.
Winter Skin Treatments : Redness & Skin Quality
To Treat Redness:
V-Beam is a pulsed dye laser, using intense light which transforms into heat energy. This heat energy then serves to cauterise the veins and coagulate the blood to prevent and reduce redness in the skin.
To Treat Skin Quality & Wrinkles:
M22 & Tixel used in combination can combat poor skin quality and fine lines.
The Tixel uses heat energy for collagen remodelling, and is cleared for use right up to the delicate lash line, making it the perfect needle-free crow’s feet treatment.
M22 is a laser resurfacing machine that uses different technologies to create a ‘controlled wound’ that the body’s natural processes then heal to reduce a range of conditions.
Winter Skin Treatments : Skin Laxity, Texture, & Tone
To Treat Skin Quality & Laxity:
We recommend the Infini for skin laxity. The Infini uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production for a tightening and lifting effect, as well as improving the texture and tone. Treatment time is around 30 minutes, and there is minimal downtime, meaning you can get back to your daily routine in no time!
To Treat Skin Texture & Tone:
One of our very popular treatments, the Beauti-PHI Peel, is a 30-45 minute facial that uses diamond-tipped microdermabrasion, topical serums, and LED lights to improve the quality of the skin. It can be used as a one off or as a repeat treatment for glowing skin. You can see examples of the Beauti-PHI Peel journey on our Instagram here.
