Harley Street fat freezing can sound like an intimidating prospect, but it is praised for the results it yields as a non-invasive alternative to traditional liposuction. Non-surgical interventions have been gaining traction in recent years, with more and more people preferring to have treatments that don’t involve scalpels over those that do. Fat freezing treatments use cryolipolysis technology for a targeted reduction of fat in problem areas.

Cryolipolysis works by cooling a targeted area of tissue to around 10°c using a range of specially-designed applicators to suit individual patients and areas of concern. A vacuum head sucks tissue into the applicator and cools it by extracting energy, while protecting the surface of skin to keep it safe.

Cryolipolysis can be used all over the body, and thanks to new applicators developed by Allergan, the company behind CoolSculpting, treatments can be tailored to the unique needs of the individual. Love handles, inner and outer thighs, stomach fat, and back fat can be treated for targeted reduction. With the addition of the new CoolAdvantage Petite and Cool Mini, areas like the neck, upper arms, banana rolls on the buttocks, and knee fat are now added to that list.

Harley Street fat freezing requires a consultation prior to any procedure, which incurs a fee of £50 with these nurses and aestheticians, (doctors have a different pricing structure, and don’t usually perform cryolipolysis treatments) which is redeemable against any treatment you go on to have.
