Juvederm Volux phi clinic 1920x1280

At the Beauty Decoded event at One Marylebone on the 7th March 2019, Juvederm and Tatler came together to demystify the aesthetic industry. Our very own medical director, Dr Tapan, was in attendance, performing live treatments on the day, and discussing the importance of a thorough consultation with a live audience. As well as this, he teamed up with his esteemed colleague and mentor, Dr Mauricio de Maio, to introduce a brand new Juvederm product, Juvederm Volux.

What Is Juvederm Volux?

Juvederm Volux is a thicker dermal filler product that was created for use in the chin and jawline in order to improve the appearance of concerns like volume loss that can come with age. It can also be used in the nose for non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments. It is made up of hyaluronic acid, a sugar that occurs naturally in the human body. This sugar is synthesised for specific use in aesthetic treatments, as it attracts and retains as much as one thousand times its weight in water in order to give a volumising effect.

When used in the lower face, it can significantly improve the appearance of the jawline and chin, in order to reintroduce lost volume or to add this volume in those who did not have it. As trends lean towards defined jawlines, Juvederm Volux is the latest and most efficient product in creating this look, yielding significant results in just one short treatment. Our highly trained doctors are exceptionally skilled in balancing the profile using dermal fillers, and this new product has added another dimension to jawline treatments for future patients.
