Introducing our new micro-needling treatment, SkinPen!
Micro-needling is a minimally invasive procedure that typically uses derma rollers or other devices, containing tiny sterile needles that temporarily creates small microscopic channels in your skin. This prompts the deeper layers of the skin to rebuild, essentially kickstarting the body’s natural healing process.
These controlled microscopic punctures stimulate the production of collagen which firm, tighten and increase hydration to the skin, ultimately reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
How is micro-needling with SkinPen different?
SkinPen has changed how we see micro-needling. Its 12 point disposable needle cartridges make it more sanitary than traditional derma rollers, whilst the depth of these needles can also be adjusted, ranging from 0.25mm to 2.5mm. Its design also means that clinicians are able to easily reach smaller areas, as it is wireless and lightweight, meaning you can safely treat more sensitive areas, such as round the eyes.
