Nose Hump Correction With Dermal Fillers

Non-Surgical Nose Reshaping
We recently welcomed a patient into the clinic who had a pronounced dorsal hump following a surgery to remove adenoids at the age of 11. She was treated by Dr Tapan, our medical director, who used dermal fillers to perform a nose hump correction procedure by introducing small amounts of product into the bridge of her nose to balance her profile.
In less than half an hour, he was able to straighten out the bump on her nose to improve its appearance, both from face on and in profile, using a non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment.

“When I was about 11 I had my adenoids removed and that was a horrible surgery that left me with a lot of internal scarring. Nose Hump Correction with Juvederm Volux
Dr Tapan used Juvederm Volux, a thicker product from the Juvederm Vycross range that is perfect for defining the contours of the face, including the chin, jawline, and nose hump correction. These products are made up of hyaluronic acid (HA), a sugar that is found naturally in skin tissue which attracts and retains moisture. This HA is synthesised in a lab, meaning it is less likely to cause an adverse reaction, and can last for up to 24 months.
Results are noticeable immediately following treatment, but will develop over the course of 3-6 weeks, at which point we advise that patients come back to see us for a review appointment.
