Dr Tapan Patel
Having previously set up VIVA Clinic in North London, Dr Tapan embarked on a new venture, starting up PHI Clinic on London’s renowned Harley Street, back in January 2014.
By offering the widest selection of treatments at PHI Clinic, Dr Tapan wishes to treat a broader spectrum of skin conditions than ever before. Rather than only having one laser/device/treatment available, he has sought technologies from across the world that are safe, effective and target different aspects of the same condition. That means for any one condition, he can offer his patients multiple solutions, depending on their preference, desired result and medical history.

Gudiya Patel Managing Director
Gudiya is the managing director and acting Practice Manager here at PHI Clinic London and has been running the clinic since its inception in 2014, after successfully running Viva Clinic. With a special interest and passion for nutrition and holistic beauty, Gudiya is now a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Transformational Coach. When not in the clinic, Gudiya keenly practices yoga and is head of PHI’s charity wing, PHI-Lanthropy.
Among her many charitable endeavours she has supported a number of Indian orphans for the past 10 years and coaches in various charities in the UK.
Dr Priya Verma MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, BSc
As a London-trained GP and dual qualified women’s health specialist, Dr Verma is an Aesthetics Doctor and the official international trainer for Eufoton Lasers. Dr Verma is the most experienced endolift practitioner in the UK and has trained a large number of leading plastic and oculoplastic surgeons, dermatologists, dentists and aesthetic physicians in the procedure – including Dr Tapan himself. She specialises in natural looking enhancements and age-appropriate treatments, whilst maintaining patient safety and outstanding clinical care, the core of her practice. The aesthetic procedures she has carried out include: injectables, profhilo, laser treatments, micro-needling and skincare.
Starting off her medical career at the University of Warwick in 2014, Dr Verma was awarded a highly competitive NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in London, where she conducted research in primary care and is keen to bring this same academic rigour to treating patients in aesthetic medicine with evidence-based treatments, where she was able to combine her passions for clinical medicine with academic and research. Recently she completed a postgraduate diploma in Skin Ageing and Aesthetics at the University of Manchester.
Dr Verma’s other passions include advocating health and wellness, as well as a keen interest in developing safe and effective treatment protocols for intimate women’s health issues.
Dr Manav Bawa PGDIP (ESSQ) MRCS (ENG), M ED (SE) & DIC, MRCGP
Dr Manav Bawa is an award-winning cosmetic doctor. His background lies in surgery, where he spent 5 years performing plastic and orthopaedic procedures. Following this, he then became a GP and cosmetic doctor.
He has been personally mentored by Dr Tapan Patel and his passion is full facial transformations. Dr Bawa prioritises helping his patients to look and feel the best version of themselves in a natural but effective way.
Dr Bawa trains other doctors in injectables on Harley Street and is an expert in a range of advanced procedures, including non-surgical rhinoplasty and tear troughs.
He recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Injectables and has had numerous articles published in aesthetic journals. As well as this, he regularly fills a guest speaker role at national aesthetic congresses and has been invited to lead a masterclass in dermal filler for an international aesthetic conference.
Dr Amanda Penny MBBS, BSc, DCH & FRCA
With a good eye for facial aesthetics, Dr Amanda Penny believes in providing subtle, natural-looking results for her patients and runs a successful clinic in West London whilst visiting PHI Clinic weekly. After graduating from Guy’s, King’s & Thomas’s Medical School in 2003, she practised as a hospital doctor for over a decade, specialising in Anaesthetics. With years of experience working at award winning clinics, Dr Amanda Penny joins us here at PHI Clinic.
Dr Penny has previously worked as a trainer for one of the UK’s largest aesthetic training providers, to help improve patient safety and quality within the cosmetic field. Holding postgraduate qualifications in Aesthetic Medicine and Clinical Dermatology, Dr Amanda is also a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine as well as the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners.
The main areas of interest and expertise that Dr Amanda specialises in are non-surgical interventions like Botox® injections, Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels and Profhilo.
Dr Anneka Shah MBChB MRCS BSc(Hons)
After completing her early medical training at a London teaching hospital, Dr Shah furthered her surgical career in a large trauma centre.
She has spent recent years practicing Ear, Nose and Throat surgery and consequently has an excellent appreciation of facial anatomy.
She has been personally mentored by Dr Tapan Patel and combines a surgical background and keen aesthetic eye to produce effective, natural-looking rejuvenation.
The aesthetic procedures she carries out include a range of injectables, Profhilo and skin care. She works closely with the skin therapists to ensure patients have access to appropriate laser therapies and all their skincare needs are met.
She is a proud advocate of all round wellness and believes a holistic approach to addressing ageing and appearance is the healthiest and most effective way of improving one’s self in the long run.
Dr Ivona Paravic MD, MBCAM
After completing Pre Medical and Medical School at University of Rijeka, Croatia, Dr Paravic gained medical experience by working in A&E, Urology and spent several years practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Barnet and Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital in London.
She developed an interest in Aesthetics back in 2016 and moved into private business starting her own aesthetic practice in Twickenham. Dr Paravic is an experienced injector and she’s been an aesthetic trainer on Harley Street for couple of years where her focus was of anatomy and safe injectable procedures.
She is also member of British College of Aesthetic Medicine and has recently completed BCAM exam as well and postgraduate diploma in aesthetics.
She believes that by having a holistic approach, everyone has the best chance in achieving a better version of themselves. Her focus is on natural results and will guide you through your aesthetic journey.
Sarah Gaughan
Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Science degree at the National University of Ireland, Galway and has since worked in various specialities within the Irish Health Service and the NHS from Acute Medicine to Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. Working in plastics and reconstruction, Sarah developed an interest in the aesthetic industry and joined Phi Clinic in 2016 where she worked closely with Dr Patel. Sarah went on to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Injectable Medicine as well as Qualifying from Kings College London to become an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Areas of Interest and Expertise: Sarah has a special interest in treating antiaging concerns using injectable and energy based devices as well as clinical proven skincare.

Jemma Brandt
Jemma completed her Nursing Degree with Honours at Brighton University. Prior to studying to be a Nurse Jemma started her career as a beauty therapist working in the Cayman Islands. When returning to the UK she worked alongside top plastic surgeons and medical aesthetic brands. Her background in the beauty industry, knowledge from working with medical device brands combined with her Nursing degree creates a solid platform for safe and effective, patient focused treatments. Jemma has completed her foundation and advanced training in dermal fillers and toxin. She practices near her home town in Hove and has been mentored by Dr Tapan Patel at PHI Clinic since 2020.

Jemma specialises in non-surgical interventions, preventative treatments and skin rejuvenation.

Charlotte Guest
Graduated in 2009 and having completed her Masters in the Nursing Science course at the University of Nottingham, Charlotte additionally completed a second Masters degree in Pain Management and has since qualified to become an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Having previously worked in the Emergency Department and as the lead nurse for pain management in a large NHS Trust, Charlotte developed a keen interest for the world of aesthetics and moved into private practice in 2017. She has been working in aesthetics at a reputable London clinic and joined PHI Clinic in 2022 where she has worked closely with Dr Tapan Patel.
She enjoys keeping abreast of the latest developments within the industry through attending aesthetic conferences.
Areas of Interest and Expertise: Charlotte specialises in treating skin laxity and insufficient volume through injectable treatments as well as targeted prescription skincare including Obagi.

Jenna Staal
Jenna Staal has been an Aesthetic Therapist treating patients in London for more than 15 years. In this time she has not only acquired invaluable knowledge and experience in advanced non-surgical cosmetic procedures, she has also trained staff on various devices and skincare products. Focusing on skin rejuvenation, lifting, tightening and non-invasive fat reduction treatments Jenna is able to add structure to both consultations and treatments, and is relaxed and engaging in helping her patients to get the maximum benefits of the service we offer here at PHI.

NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Facial, Skincare and Beauty Qualifications, Core of Knowledge in Laser and Light.

15 years of experience in laser treatments and skincare, special interest in the treatment for skin tightening and corrective skincare including Obagi products.
Libi Roos
As a qualified health and skin care aesthetic practitioner, Libi has previously owned a medical skincare clinic in Cape Town South Africa and has recently relocated to London.
Over the years Libi has developed a well proven and results driven skincare methodology, listening to the needs of her clients and developing a personalised treatment plan with an ultimate goal to achieve the best possible results for her clients.
Specialising in advanced skin rejuvenation and lasers, Libi’s passion for creating and mixing different treatments has become her signature.
Yelda Fikret
Yelda is a results driven aesthetic therapist use to dealing with non surgical procedures for the face and body.
With over 14 years experience in the beauty and aesthetic industry, she has experience working with a variety of machines enabling her to tailor treatments and create bespoke treatment plans to suit your individual needs.
Nothing gives her greater pleasure than to help patients feel more confident in their own skin.
