Skin rejuvenation with Laser Genesis

As we age, the regeneration of cells slows considerably throughout our entire body. While this is a completely natural part of life, it can have some unpleasant side effects for our skin, such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and redness. As the body slows the healing process, many become concerned with the visible effects of ageing.

Wrinkles can develop as the collagen levels in the skin decrease. Also, increased dilation of the capillaries can lead to flushed-looking skin, particularly across the nose, forehead and cheeks. Luckily, with a few well-chosen treatments, your skin can become rejuvenated and healthy-looking again.

PHI Clinic specialises in working with a range of treatments, including Laser Genesis, to provide you with long-lasting, beneficial results. Working with the best techniques and the finest equipment available, your improved skin and self-confidence are only ever a few treatments away.

Laser Genesis: what you need to know

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive treatment that is gentle but effective. It works by heating the layers of the upper dermis, well below the surface of the skin, which both stimulates the release of collagen and allows blood to run smoothly through capillaries, improving circulation. This improved circulation allows for the redness to subside and for the collagen to reach the right areas, in order to help your skin regenerate with a healthy, glowing finish.

Patients will quickly see improvements with any scarring, fine lines and uneven skin tone, with results showing in as quickly as 10 days from the point of treatment. Because it is so gentle, it can even be used with other therapies such a micro-needling and injectables for a complete series of aesthetic therapies.

Four to six treatments are advised, ideally set at around three weeks between each appointment. However, because collagen will often continue to be produced long after each treatment, most patients will continue to see the benefits for some time after these have been completed.

Even better, there are no strong side effects created through the use of Laser Genesis, aside from some redness, which fades within a few hours of treatment – making this one of the few options that allows you continue life as normal, soon after your appointment.

Some patients may experience slight redness that will disappear within a few hours of treatment. Other than this, we recommend that your daily activities can be resumed immediately following your session.
