Tixel

Introduction
Used to treat a wide array of conditions, the Tixel is one of the newest technologies we offer at PHI. It has ablative and non-ablative settings to tailor treatment to the individual, and is suitable for use right up to the lash line for crepey skin around the eyes, without the downtime and side effects of regular lasers.
Employing a grid of 81 tiny pyramids, heat is delivered to the skin in a controlled transfer to achieve a number of results. Skin tightening, skin resurfacing, and product delivery are achieved without the need for anaesthetic due to the gentler nature of the treatment.

"Knowing who to treat, what to treat them with and how to do the treatment safely is the cornerstone of aesthetic practice.”
At PHI we mainly use the Tixel for the reduction of scars or fine lines and wrinkles, but any of the concerns mentioned above are also treatable. Any indication that affects the dermis can be affected by this particular laser, as the epidermis is stimulated using a controlled wound to rejuvenate the skin.

Technical Information
Wrinkles and fine lines, skin discolouration, sun damage, skin tone and texture, age spots, and acne scars can all be treated by the Tixel, which mainly focuses on the face, eyelids, and neck, but can also be used on the decolletage.
Using thermal fractional skin rejuvenation technology, this device reduces the appearance of forehead lines, bunny (glabellar) lines, crow’s feet, eyelid lines, nasolabial folds (between the mouth and nose), lip lines, creased chin, and neck folds.
The Tixel is perfect for someone who wants to achieve smoother, healthier skin, especially around the eyes, without the traditional downtime of other treatments – normal daily activities can be resumed following treatment, and mineral makeup can be applied. Results are long-lasting provided all aftercare instructions are followed.
