Botox FAQs : Product
What are the long term effects of Botox if someone uses it regularly?
Botox is a temporary solution to wrinkles, among other concerns, and using it regularly maintains a reduced wrinkle or wrinkle free look.
What Botox product do you use?
We only ever use branded Botox by Allergan, the most established and trusted product on the market.
How long does Botox last?
We usually advise that outcomes from Botox treatments last for 3-4 months, though this may vary. Botox is an ongoing treatment, and we recommend having supplementary sessions every 3-5 months to maintain results.
Botox FAQs : Treatment
Does Botox treatment hurt?
As with any treatment, everyone’s pain threshold will vary, but most experience very little pain, merely the sharp scratch of the needle, and anaesthetic is rarely required.
Does Botox in your forehead make your forehead shiny?
When used excessively, Botox has been known to cause a shiny appearance to the forehead. At PHI, we treat every patient holistically, always preferring to create subtle results, rather than exaggerated outcomes.
Does Botox help lift hooded (sagging) eyelids?
For most people the use of Botox can help lift and prevent some of the forces which act to pull the forehead down and cause brow sagging. You should always have a consultation to assess your face thoroughly prior to any treatment.
At PHI, only medically qualified professionals perform Botox injections, including our team of doctors and our injectable nurses, who were trained by our medical director, Dr Tapan Patel.
