Facial Skin Tightening

facial skin tightening 1920x1280

As we age, the vital proteins in our skin get weaker, making it more susceptible to becoming loose and sagging. This can be particularly noticeable on the face, as this loose skin causes jowling along the jaw and deep tear troughs, and can sometimes give the appearance of drooping mouth corners. There are a few facial skin tightening options that can be used to address these concerns for a rejuvenated appearance.

Ultrasound Facial Skin Tightening - PHI_April_2017_235 690x960

Ultrasound Facial Skin Tightening

Ultraformer

Ultraformer uses High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound technology to tighten by heating tissue to encourage collagen synthesis for an improvement in skin laxity as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy also uses ultrasound technology for facial skin tightening, employing micro-focussed ultrasound to lift and tighten skin by triggering the body’s natural healing processes, causing improved collagen synthesis.

Radiofrequency Facial Skin Tightening - PHI_April_2017_295 690x960

Radiofrequency Facial Skin Tightening

Infini

The Infini uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production in the deeper levels of the skin for an overall tightening effect that directly addresses sagging skin and wrinkles, as well as improving texture and tone.

BTL Exilis

Also using radiofrequency technology, the BTL Exilis heats skin to address sagging, for a reduction in the appearance of concerns like jowling and wrinkles, that are caused by laxity. We recommend that most patients will need a course of 6-8 treatments for optimal results, though this will vary from person to person, and will be discussed within your initial patient consultation.
