What Needleless Skin Treatment Actually Means
Patients often assume that if a product comes in a syringe, it has to be delivered with a needle.
That is not always true.
Needleless skin treatment uses controlled pressure to place product into the skin without a conventional needle. In the case of NovoJet, the product is driven through the skin in a fine, high pressure stream using a microjet injector.
In practical terms, the sensation is very different from a traditional injection. Patients often describe it as feeling more like a quick, controlled jet of pressure on the skin, similar to a gentle “jet wash” sensation, rather than a needle going in.
